I have been chasing the light for as long I can remeber. It has always been and always will be the purpose of all my journeys.
Marrakesh, Toronto, New York, Damascus, Taipei, Ankara, Lviv, Tczew – it was not so much the place but those divine, epic moments when it seemed to me that I captured them, even if only for a moment.
I was looking for the Light in sunrises and my beloved sunsets. In the flickering of dead stars (Andromeda – 2.5 million light years from Earth). In the eternal dance of fire. Reflections captured in crystals on the windowsill, glass stars hanging in each of our apartments and the rims of wine glasses. Caramels, candlesticks, pendants, flasks, mirrors, lakes, ocean waves, golden cloud edges, Grandpa’s glasses, colored glass balls, dirty windows. I wasn’t picky.
And only recently did I understand that the light should be sought within, that it is only there that is eternal, real, living, indestructible. This piece of Divine, the soul, however You call it – Beautiful, True, Bright and Good. My task is to bring this Light to the world. In every little prosaic moment.
And this is what all this is all about 🙂
